Euphoria, here, is not a state something produces. It's the feeling of the fork — the small, private lift of having chosen. Most days have one in them. Almost none of them get written down.

The archive

So we started writing them down. Every entry is one moment somebody went the other way. The long route home. The room somebody left to say one sentence. The item on the menu nobody could pronounce.

Nothing more than that, and no lesson attached to it. Some of them were decisions. Some of them weren't. The archive records those the same way, and it doesn't rank them.

Not better. Other.

We're not in the argument. Some nights the right answer is a drink, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.

We aren't here to fix you. You aren't broken — you just lack options that differ. Most defaults got to be the default by habit rather than merit, and the other one is usually missing because nobody could be bothered to build it properly. That's the whole job.

What's first

Batch 001 is SOCIAL and TRYST. Five hundred cases, and then that's it for the first one.

The drinks are what exists first. They aren't the point, and they aren't the end of it — the name was never about a shelf.

Who

differ* is one person in Mumbai. The registered entity is Arent You Behind Clout Private Limited, which is a worse name and a longer story.

There's nothing to buy

We're in certification. It takes as long as it takes and we don't control the clock, so we're not going to give you a date we can't keep.
